Coast & Harbor Engineering, Inc. (CHE) has an opening for a Coastal/Civil Engineer with experience in preliminary and final engineering design and construction administration of marine and coastal structures and facilities. Opening is available in Edmonds, Washington, located on Puget Sound 15 miles north of Seattle. This position includes documenting project site conditions, processing and analyzing data, participating in data collection programs, conducting alternatives analysis, performing cost estimates, conducting construction oversight, and writing reports. Candidate must be familiar in the use of ACAD for developing bidding and construction documents. Experience writing CSI and DOT standard specification formats preferred. Project work located in Pacific Northwest, Gulf of Mexico, South America, and Asia; work may require periodic travel. Coastal and waterfront engineering projects will include shoreline stabilization, beach restoration, coastal and estuarine habitat creation and restoration, marine terminals, marinas, navigation facilities and dredging. Position requires 5 years’ experience and a current P.E. License.
